I’m Khristina Gallagher, proud founder of Columbus Bound Bookshop, located in the heart of Midtown Columbus, GA. After growing up here and spending 20 years away, I returned with a deep longing for the cozy, independent bookstores I’d come to love in other communities. So in November 2024, I opened Columbus’ very own indie bookshop—and it’s been a dream come true.
Columbus Bound Bookshop is a welcoming space where readers of all ages can explore the latest titles in a charming, thoughtfully curated environment. Our selection reflects the interests and passions of our local community, with robust sections for both adults and children. Every book on our shelves is chosen with care and intention.
But we’re more than just a bookstore—we’re a hub for connection and creativity. We host a variety of events including book clubs, author signings, release parties, and story times. We also welcome non-book gatherings like crafting nights and educational workshops.
Our love for books extends beyond our walls. You’ll find us around town at events like our popular Adult Book Fairs at local breweries and the Annual Children’s Book Festival at the Columbus Public Library.
At the heart of it all is a simple mission: to foster a love for books and build a strong, connected community. I’m beyond excited to share this space with you—and I can’t wait to see what we create together as we grow.
